What shipped
- Angular 22.2.0 released with compiler improvements for template private property access, nested CSS selector handling, and strictUnclaimedEventNames option for catching misspelled output bindings. Release
- Core expressions now support increment and decrement operators (++ and --) to align syntax closer to native JavaScript. Pull request #70816
- RouterLink performance improved by not retaining UrlTree instances in computed signals, reducing memory overhead for views with many links. Pull request #70953
- Router optimization avoids dense element allocation for numeric URL keys, reducing backing-store memory usage during parameter parsing. Pull request #70717
- VSCode extension property binding grammar updated to support Tailwind-style characters like hover:, !, and / in class bindings. Pull request #70526
- Error boundary fallbacks now render correctly after hot module replacement by clearing the RefreshView flag before updates. Pull request #70674
- VSCode Extension 22.2.0 released with inlay hint support in inline templates and folding range improvements for templates with interpolated strings. Release
- Angular DevTools 1.22.0 released with ability to toggle control flow and defer blocks in the debugger. Pull request #70899
