HubSpot is retiring design manager serverless functions and Node.js 20 and earlier runtimes for workflow custom code actions, since these no longer receive security updates. Users should move functions to developer projects and update actions to Node.js 24.

HubSpot announced an upcoming end to Node.js 20 support in its developer CLI and an automatic move to TLS 1.2 minimum for hosted domains.

Node.js 20 is being dropped from the HubSpot developer CLI starting January 8, 2027, following Node.js 20's end-of-life on April 30, 2026.

On October 14, HubSpot-hosted domains will automatically move to a minimum TLS version of 1.2, replacing TLS 1.0 or 1.1.
