What they shipped

  • From its YC profile: Whitespace is the AI operating system for wholesale distribution. We give wholesale distributors self-improving AI agents that learn their business and do work like inventory planning, customer service, and order processing. (source)
  • Its own site describes it as: "AI agents that analyze your business data, forecast demand, recommend inventory order quantities, and take actions so you can reduce stock-outs and excess stock." (source)

Who is behind it

  • Alex Tung, Founder/CEO: Founder at Whitespace. First non-engineer hire at Ankar (Index-backed), scaling it to 7-figure ARR in under a year. Previously BCG, deploying AI at F500 distributors. Cambridge Economics. (source)
  • Leon Yao, Founder/CTO: Founder at Whitespace. Previously Research Engineer at InstaDeep, running 7-figure supply chain AI deployments for F500 enterprises. UCL Machine Learning, publishing AI papers at IROS (top-3 robotics conference) as an undergrad. (source)
