Edgerun on the record

What they shipped

  • From its YC profile: Edgerun Industries builds military exoskeletons. Our hip-mounted system assists every step a soldier takes under combat load, so they can travel farther, carry more, and arrive ready to fight. (source)
  • Its own site describes it as: "Edgerun Industries builds military exoskeletons that increase human strength and endurance — extended range, increased payload, maximized violence of action." (source)
  • From the Launch YC post "Edgerun: The 10 lb Military Exoskeleton": Edgerun builds powered legs for soldiers. A 10 lb exoskeleton worn at the waist that adds assistance to every step and cuts the effort of moving under a combat load by 30-45%. Since May, we've run 100+ field tests with Ukrainian operators out of our Kyiv field office. (source)

Who is behind it

  • David Venegas, Founder/CEO: Pro-human expansionist (source)
