Deploy on the record

What they shipped

  • From its YC profile: Deploy's core belief is that robots should be useful. Getting a generalist robot to do real work is fundamentally the same problem across industries. We build everything between the model and the task to bring generalist robots to the businesses that actually need them. (source)
  • Its own site describes it as: "Foundation models are ready. Deploy takes robot AI from the lab to the warehouse floor. Guaranteed throughput. Day one." (source)

Who is behind it

  • Irene Grace Karot Polson, Founder/CEO: Deploying generalist robots at Deploy. Previously Autonomy Engineer at AeroVect, deploying self-driving vehicles at airports, flight data at Airbus. MS Robotics from UPenn, BS Aerospace from IIT Kanpur. (source)
  • Sahith Reddy Chada, Founder/CTO: Deploying generalist robots at Deploy. Research Engineer at Honda Research Institute building vision-language-action models and world models for robotics and autonomous vehicles. MS Robotics from UMn, BTech Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kanpur. (source)

Timeline

  1. 2026: founded, per its YC profile. (source)
  2. 2026-09-09: "Show HN: Deploy unlimited small/medium-size apps with fixed price" posted to Hacker News by tungnt620, 4 points and 1 comment. (source)
