What shipped
- Global Filter in any column now preserves slash-delimited regex terms such as /New York/ instead of splitting them into separate LIKE filters, fixing the reported issue. Pull request #4194
- Added a Punjabi (Gurmukhi script) translation covering all current source strings and registered it in the translations build and resource files. Pull request #4210
- Saving a project file now avoids dirty writes when a crash occurs during the XML build, a first step that does not yet cover disk errors. Pull request #3888
- The continuous release build updated the signing request action dependency to a newer major version. Release
- The nightly release build had no content. Release
Why it matters
This week the global filter field stops breaking regex terms, so searches written with slash delimiters run as the single filter users typed instead of being split apart. Saving a project is also safer against crashes during the XML build, though disk errors are not yet handled. The project also gained a Punjabi translation that covers all current source strings.
Changelog entry

- Avoid dirty writes when a crash occurs while saving a project file Pull request #3888
- Update signing request action dependency in the continuous release build Release
- Nightly release build had no content Release
Global Filter in any column now keeps regex terms like /New York/ intact instead of splitting them into separate LIKE filters. Punjabi (Gurmukhi) translation added, covering all current source strings. Project saving also avoids dirty writes on a crash during the XML build.
This week in the project: Global Filter in any column now preserves slash-delimited regex terms such as /New York/, which were previously split into separate LIKE filters. This fixes the reported problem with literal spaces being divided before terms reached the condition parser. A Punjabi (Gurmukhi script) translation has been added, covering all current source strings, and is registered in the translations build and resource files. Saving a project file now avoids dirty writes when a crash occurs during the XML build. This does not yet cover disk errors, which would need further safe writing methods such as a temporary file and move. The continuous release build updated its signing request action dependency to a newer major version, and the nightly release build had no content.
