Inflection Space Systems on the record

What they shipped

  • From its YC profile: Inflection is building the industrial capacity to manufacture tens of thousands of spacecraft per year for next generation commercial and government space applications. Imagine a factory that looks like an Amazon fulfillment center instead of a NASA clean room. (source)
  • Its own site describes it as: "Constellation class spacecraft." (source)

Who is behind it

  • Alex Lisso, Founder/CEO: Co-founder of Inflection Space Systems. Background in spacecraft engineering spanning design, manufacturing, test, and operations. LEO, GEO, and Lunar orbits. Millennium Space Systems, Rocket Lab, Planet Labs, and Interlune. Likes sci-fi, powerlifting, and the beach. (source)
  • Matt Hanley, Founder/CTO: Matt is the co-founder and CTO of Inflection Space Systems. Before Inflection, Matt was at Loft Orbital helping them scale up their satellite integration and test by implementing new technologies and automation. Before that, he spent 4 years at Rocket Lab building out their space systems division, most notably shepherding the Lunar Photon spacecraft to the Moon. (source)
